The Radiology Residency Program at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical center is a program based in beautiful Upper Valley New Hampshire, bordering the Appalachian Mountains and Connecticut River, and serving as the only level 1 Trauma Center for all of New Hampshire, most of Vermont, and northern Massachusetts. We take pride in our warm collegial atmosphere made up of outstanding staff and high faculty to resident ratios. Our comprehensive curriculum not only provides a solid foundation in all aspects of radiology, but also prepares residents for fellowship and the ABR Core and Certifying examinations. The program also provides the flexibility to expand upon interests and train leaders in research, teaching, and public service by bringing together exceptional clinical facilities with the opportunities provided by Geisel School of Medicine, The Dartmouth Institute, Tuck School of Business, and Thayer School of Engineering. Our residents are hardworking, dedicated and highly motivated individuals that annually pass the Core Exam and match into their top fellowship choices. They go on to lead fulfilling future careers whether it be in private practice or academic settings.
Outside of the hospitals residents engage in outdoor activities such as skiing, kayaking, running and hiking and enjoy spending time with friends and family at the many farmers markets, breweries, and fairs/festivals scattered throughout the Upper Valley.
