Our Program

The two-year fellowship in nephrology is a comprehensive and intensive program, during which fellows will be expected to:

Achieve clinical excellence
Gain complete familiarity with the diagnostic techniques and imaging equipment that are essential to current nephrology practice
Understand the pathophysiology, pathology and management of kidney disease
Acquire the knowledge and experience for certification by the Subspecialty Board of Nephrology
Participate in scholarly educational and research activity
Participate in and enhance the education of medical students and residents

Continuity clinic (1/2 day per week)
15 core one-month rotations include nephrology consultation (including acute dialysis and continuous renal replacement therapies), chronic dialysis, renal transplantation
9 elective rotations include imaging, interventional radiology, renal pathology, intensive care, outpatient nephrology including outreach, palliative nephrology
