Extra-Institutional Support

• NIH-sponsored National Research Services Award Training Grant supplements and supports the extra year of training for Dartmouth residents.
• The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) provides for leadership training in the Medicare Leadership/AAOS Clinical Scholars program.
• The ACGME RFP2000 award allowed Dartmouth to expand its residency by one resident per year. We are currently recruiting four residents per year for a six-year program, so that we can maintain 20 active residents while allowing four residents to be off-service during their year in the Master's program.
