The Norris Cotton Cancer Center at DHMC is a National Cancer Institute-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center with many ongoing research protocols. We work closely with our division of Palliative Care under the directorship of Dr. Ira Byock.
In conjunction with the Neurology Section, we are arrange a monthly headache clinic experience for each pain fellow.
We participate daily with the DHMC Spine Center. The Spine Center is a multi-disciplinary clinic of orthopedists, neurosurgeons, physical therapists, psychologists, pain specialists, internists, occupational medicine specialists, and rehabilitative specialists.
We partake in the National Spine Network to pool outcome data of our spine patients. We also work closely with the DHMC Center for Shared Decision Making to involve the patient in healthcare choices.
