How to Apply
In an effort to facilitate social distancing during the current COVID-19 pandemic, the Graduate Medical Education Department at Dartmouth-Hitchcock has made the decision that, as of March 2020, all programs with scheduled on-site candidate interviews in the next two to three months will be conducting interviews remotely. Your application and interview is important to us and we want to ensure that you have the best possible experience. Therefore, we are still conducting business as normal and we are looking forward to reviewing your application. We are currently accepting applications for the 2021-2022 academic year. We have two one-year positions available each year. Addiction Psychiatry Fellowships begin in July each year.

We accept applications between March 1 and April 30 for positions available the following July.

- Medical school dean’s letter
- Medical school transcript
- USMLE scores
- Three letters of recommendation
- ECFMG certificate (if applicable)
After receipt of all required documentation, selected candidates are invited for an on-campus interview.
Interviews will take place in June and July for appointment the following July.
