All cardiology fellows are required to participate in clinical research as part of their training experience. We offer structured mentoring and connection to a variety of established research avenues. The goal is to ensure that fellows have a productive academic experience leading to the publication of their work.
The following are some of the research components aligned with the Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at Dartmouth:
- Northern New England Cardiovascular Disease Study Group, founded in 1987, with data on more than 190,000 procedures
- Internal Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory Database, started in 1993, approaching 70,000 cases
- The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice
- ECHO-HeartLab Database
