All residents are evaluated by the faculty through the use of the Medhub system for each rotation. Any deficiencies are discussed with the program director. Performance is also discussed during staff meetings. Any plan for skill remediation would be discussed with the resident directly and documented.
A comprehensive summative evaluation is created and is discussed with each resident midway through the academic year, and at the end of the academic year.

- Clinic visit data
- In training exam data
- Surgical log review comparison to national means
- Conference attendance
- Leadership and teamwork
- Self-evaluation of strengths, weaknesses, accomplishments and goals.
