Accepting applications for our ACGME-accredited Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center for July 1.
The Geriatric Psychiatry Fellowship Training Program at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center offers a rich combination of exposures designed to provide a broad-based clinical experience to psychiatrists with expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of neuropsychiatric disorders in late life, to develop skills as educators, and to stimulate interest in research.
The fellowship program is an ACGME approved 12-month fellowship and provides supervised clinical training in a variety of settings including:
- Out-patient specialty clinics
- Nursing home/Assisted Living settings
- Neurology services
- Community based offices and clinics, and both in-patient and out-patient based research programs.
The fellowship also provides opportunities to learn about the social, legal, ethical and financial issues associated with the care of older adults. Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, New Hampshire Hospital and Glencliff Home are the primary training facilities.
