A monthly conference is given to all orthopaedic residents on topics ranging from normal histology of the musculoskeletal system to clinical pathologic states pertaining to orthopaedic oncology.
A three-month rotation in orthopaedic oncology/tumors for our PGY-2 residents at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston provides residents with exposure to the basic science and clinical aspects of orthopaedic pathology.
Each of our PGY-3 residents attend an annual pathology course held over two-weekends in Boston through the auspices of Massachusetts General Hospital.
