Why I enjoy the pathology program at DHMC

All of the attending pathologists make a genuine effort to share with us their knowledge during our one-on-one sign out times and genuinely enjoy teaching and interacting with the residents.  There is also an awesome dynamic between the residents, upper level residents do a great job at helping the newer residents when needed and are always willing to give advice.  We have great relationships outside work, this past year we had “Resident Thanksgiving” and deep fried a turkey and we take part in a number of community events together.  It also helps that we live in a beautiful location close to many ski resorts for weekend fun during the winter.

About me

Laura loves to travel. She has been to many countries in both Central and South America. As a kid she spent many summers in Colombia and lived in Argentina for six months during her undergraduate years. Laura also enjoys cooking.  She likes updating “old favorite” recipes into newer healthier versions, but there are a few recipes that just can be messed with. Finally she has recently learned how to snowboard.  She can now get down the mountain without falling.
