Why I enjoy the pathology program at DHMC
Dartmouth's pathology program stands out in that it is a small enough program that everyone can be close-knit and get one-on-one teaching, but it also provides plenty of didactics, research opportunities, and specimen variety. You can tell how invested all of the faculty and staff are in training the residents here to be competent and independent pathologists. One major strength is that the program leadership is very supportive of any career path a resident chooses. The program values work-life balance and the residents are always helping each other out, which makes it a good environment to walk into every morning. I also love living in a scenic and peaceful area!
Robin is a Connecticut native and enjoys being outdoors, especially hiking and photography. Other hobbies include music and trivia.
