Vascular and Interventional Radiology Fellowship

The Vascular and Interventional Radiology (VIR) Fellowship provides a full range of vascular imaging and vascular and non-vascular procedural and clinical experience.

Our fellows adapt to new challenges by applying basic principles of surgery and interventional radiology. Depending on your level of interest, you can also practice vascular imaging, neurointervention, and research. When your training is complete, you will be well prepared to be the primary VIR attending in a practice. Your comprehensive clinical experience will be enhanced by the truly congenial atmosphere among our technical staff, nurses, trainees, and attending staff of our various clinical services.

Overall, the fellowship provides the clinical training necessary for you to become a highly competent and confident interventional radiologist, a reasonable call burden and the scheduling flexibility to pursue particular areas of interest that make the year both educationally satisfying and enjoyable.
