Applicants

The residency and fellowship programs at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center are accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME), and applicants to our programs must meet ACGME eligibility requirements. We also follow ACGME guidelines for the selection process. Many of our programs participate in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP).

A personal interview is required for application to all training programs.

Residency and fellowship appointments are made on the basis of the applicant's preparedness, ability, aptitude, academic credentials, communications skills and personal qualities such as motivation and integrity. Residency and fellowship appointments are made without regard to gender, race, age, religion, color, national origin, disability, sexual orientation or veteran status.
