The Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship training program participates in the NRMP national Medicine and Pediatric Specialties matching program.
Applicants must submit their complete application using Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Applications must include:
- ERAS application form
- Personal statement
- Curriculum vitae
- Three letters of recommendation
- USMLE Steps 1 2, and 3 or COMLEX Levels 1, 2, and 3
- Medical student performance evaluation
- Medical school transcript
- Currently valid Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) report and certificate for international graduates (this includes US applicants who attended medical schools outside of the US)
The fellowship program begins reviewing applications in mid-July and will extend interview invitations on or around August 15. The interview period for selected applicants is September to early October. Virtual interviews will include the opportunity to interact directly with both faculty members and fellows.
Signals: Applicants are encouraged to utilize ERAS signaling to demonstrate a specific interest in our program. Signal preference will be incorporated as an important part of our holistic review.
