The Department of Radiology at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center offers a 1-year diagnostic neuroradiology fellowship for physicians who have completed a four-year radiology residency program.
The Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME)-accredited program includes all aspects of modern neuroradiology. Our size and structure make the program dynamic and flexible.
Neuroradiology is a subspecialty of diagnostic radiology that encompasses diagnostic imaging of the central nervous system, head, neck, and spine. Imaging modalities include computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, angiography, positron emission tomography, and radiography.
The Neuroradiology division is made up of 9 faculty members, each with unique interests and experience, but all possessing an interest in and commitment to teaching. We seek to further the careers of the best of the next generation of neuroradiologists in both private practice and academia.
We provide our fellow with access to online learning tools, including anatomic and case-based databases, and up-to-date resources in the resident library. The department also covers the following expenses:
- Attendance at one meeting (registration, travel and accommodations)
- The GME office provides $300 education allowance for each fellow and an additional $1000 per fellow for the program as an educational support allowance
