Nicole Odom, MD, Program Director
Dr. Nicole Odom is an Assistant Professor of Neurology at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. Her post graduate medical career began with neurology residency at UNC in Chapel Hill NC before her clinical neurophysiology and epilepsy fellowships at Columbia University/New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York. She joined the faculty at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in 2019 where she now serves as Director of continuous EEG monitoring and the clinical neurophysiology fellowship program. Her clinical and research interests focus on tele-EEG and improving survivorship among persons with epilepsy, particularly in the rural population.
Mark Garret, MD, Associate Program Director
Dr. Mark Garret completed neurology residency and neuromuscular fellowship training at Washington University in St. Louis. A native Vermonter, he joined Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in 2025 after three years as faculty at Massachusetts General Hospital. He serves as associate program director for the CNP fellowship and leads EMG educational efforts for neurology residents and fellows at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. He directs the multidisciplinary ALS clinic and also evaluates patients in neuromuscular clinic, muscular dystrophy association clinic, and EMG lab. He conducts research focused on genetic forms of ALS and early diagnostic biomarkers and leads multiple clinical trials for ALS at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.
Tobi Cooney, Senior Program Coordinator
Tobi Cooney is a Senior Program Coordinator for the Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship, Epilepsy Fellowship and Neurological Surgery Residency programs. Tobi is a native Vermonter who began working at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in 2002 in Neurosurgery. In 2016 she became a GME Program Coordinator. She makes sure all deadlines are met and paperwork filed correctly throughout the year so the program keeps its accreditation. Tobi enjoys seeing the residents and fellows develop both personally and professionally throughout their training.
