Radiation Oncology Residency

Our residency program is housed in Norris Cotton Cancer Care Pavilion Lebanon, 1 of 56 NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Centers, representing the top tier of cancer care in the United States. As part of the Dartmouth Cancer Center, the Section of Radiation Oncology provides tertiary/quaternary care, even while flourishing in a pristine, rural setting, striving for—and achieving—a balance between technology and the individual.

Learn about Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center's premier radiation oncology residency program that blends state-of-the-art technology with a warm and caring approach. Serving an academic medical center and the only NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center located outside of an urban hub, our program offers cutting-edge training in radiation treatment delivery. Leaders in FLASH radiation and Cherenkov emission imaging, you will have research opportunities and a robust training program.

Here medical education prides itself on its "high tech, high touch approach, emphasizing advanced science in the context of a humane, caring environment, one focused on the needs of the individual patient. Our residency program heartily endorses this philosophy, not only in its care of the cancer patient, but also in its education of future practitioners and leaders of the continuum of healing arts that constitute radiation oncology.
