The Urology Residency program at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, the academic medical center of the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, is dedicated to providing residents with the basic science knowledge, clinical acumen, and surgical skills for the contemporary practice of urology. The program is built on an apprenticeship model that emphasizes one-on-one interaction between faculty and residents, giving residents broad exposure to all aspects of clinical urology throughout the 5 years of the program. Residents are active in independent scholarship and routinely present work at national and international meetings. Residents also participate in teaching Geisel medical students and leading multidisciplinary conferences at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center.
