Interventional Radiology Interview Day

Interventional Radiology Interviews are completely virtual this season. We will be offering morning and afternoon sessions where you will be meeting with our program director, associate program director, and our chief residents.

We understand the strain that virtual interviews may cause so to limit your screen time the day of your interview, we have uploaded a few new videos to our Radiology Residency website. These are narrated by our residents and program directors Dr. Yen and Dr. Hoffer, which you can view prior to your interview in case you have any questions. Please also reference our website where you can get a resident-guided tour and lots of new video content featuring our staff and residents.

Happy hour with the residents

The evening before your interview, the residents host an informal reception at 7:00 pm via WebEx. This is a fun opportunity for you to get to know the residents and ask questions in a casual and relaxed atmosphere.

Contact information

If you have any trouble on interview day, please contact Jill Rosenthal, Residency Coordinator by calling or sending a text to 603-504-5241 or email jill.m.rosenthal@hitchcock.org.

Policies and agreement

The Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) requires that each applicant to an accredited residency program be provided with the institutional policies regarding eligibility requirements and selection process along with a sample copy of the current resident/fellow agreement of appointment in force during interview season.

Please familiarize yourself with each of the documents linked below. You will be asked to sign off indicating you received a copy of these policies and documents. We will need to have the signed document the morning of your interview, as your signature is a requirement to be eligible for ranking.

Preliminary year information:

Internal Medicine

Learn about the Internal Medicine Prelim Year at DHMC!

We are excited that you are considering Dartmouth in your educational plans. We do NOT have a separate application process for our Preliminary Intern Year. We consider all candidates interviewed by Dermatology, Radiology, and Radiation Oncology automatically. You will need to rank us in the NRMP match should you want to consider a prelim position with us.

We have all of the details and a full description of the program on our prelim year website.

Still have questions? We’ve got you! Join 1 of our Q&A sessions if you would like!

Please note that these sessions are completely optional. This is an opportunity for you to ask any questions that have not been answered in the virtual content. You should choose 1 session to attend as the content will be the same on both days. Dr. Harley Friedman will lead a brief overview of the program, followed by open time for questions.
