Message from the Program Director
Thank you for your interest in the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Fellowship Program at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. We are honored that you are considering joining our community of dedicated clinicians, researchers, and educators. Our program is designed to provide a nurturing and comprehensive training environment with an emphasis on developing excellence in patient care, procedural expertise, and scholarly pursuits. We take pride in the collegial and supportive nature of our gastroenterology community where fellows are encouraged to pursue their individual interests. Through role modeling high quality, compassionate, and patient-centric care and providing access to renowned academicians across all pillars of gastroenterology, we aim to tailor the fellowship experience to prepare all of our fellows for the career they desire upon graduation.
Our fellowship values curiosity, teamwork, collaboration, and a “can-do” attitude. Our goal is to graduate well-rounded physicians proficient in clinical care but also capable of making meaningful contributions to healthcare systems within academia and beyond.
We look forward to meeting all prospective applicants and to learning more about you and your goals during and beyond gastroenterology fellowship.
Sincerely,
Michael W. Winter, MD
