Why I enjoy the pathology program at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center

Learning and training at a rigorous academic center nestled in the heart of nature is a unique gift. The Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center Pathology Program strikes an incredible balance between academic excellence and quality of life. Dartmouth truly punches well above its weight in research, offering exceptional research opportunities, strong mentorship, and a close-knit learning environment. The faculty and staff are not only leaders in their fields, but also exceptional teachers and mentors who are genuinely invested in resident growth. This is a place where I believe that I will thrive both professionally and personally, with the Upper Valley offering fresh air, beauty, and balance beyond the microscope. I am grateful to be part of a program that values both professional growth and personal well-being.

About me

I am originally from Jamaica and attended medical school there. Until recently, I had always lived on an island — that is, until I swapped sand and sea for snow boots, thermals, and the occasional battle with black ice! After spending a few years in New York, I am now embracing life in the Upper Valley. I enjoy trying new restaurants, tackling escape rooms, and exploring different cultures and languages. I am looking forward to becoming a bit more outdoorsy and making the most of all that this beautiful region has to offer.
