Why I enjoy the pathology program at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center
The Pathology residency program here at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center is a well-resourced and academically rigorous program that maintains a culture of collegiality and mutual support among the faculty and residents. Given the resources available, there are ample opportunities to meaningfully engage in research and extracurricular activity. The residents are well supported by the faculty and a large team of friendly and competent laboratory professionals. Beyond the opportunities for professional development, we are fortunate to work on a beautiful campus surrounded by forest.
About me
I am originally from Colville, Washington. I attended undergraduate and graduate school at Central Washington University, while simultaneously serving as a Tank Commander in the Marine Corps. Between graduate school and medical school I worked as the executive director of a nonprofit free clinic. In my spare time I enjoy reading, hiking, gaming, and marksmanship. My favorite genres are nonfiction titles on history, philosophy, psychology, sociology, and the sciences. I am supported in my journey by my wife and three cats.
