The Vascular Medicine fellow will be evaluated on 6 core competencies, including patient care, medical knowledge, systems-based practice, professionalism, and interprofessional communication skills. There will be 360° feedback, including fellowship faculty, nursing staff, Cardiovascular Medicine and Vascular Surgery trainees, and patients.
Evaluation tools include direct observation, chart-stimulated recall, conference presentations, reflection, and self-assessment. The feedback will be aggregated and discussed with the Vascular Medicine fellow every 3 months.
