The Pulmonary and Critical Care Fellowship program aims to provide each fellow with the opportunity to participate in research, with a goal of presenting the findings at a national meeting and submitting a manuscript for publication in a peer-reviewed journal.
Some fellows choose to participate in an ongoing study conducted by a faculty member; others have designed their own study under the mentorship of a faculty member. Opportunities range from basic science (“bench research”) to clinical and translational science.
