  • Department of Surgery Grand Rounds
  • Genitourinary Radiology conference
  • Laparoscopy and da Vinci Xi Surgical System simulation curriculum
  • Morbidity and Mortality (M&M) conference
  • Norris Cotton Cancer Care Pavilion Lebanon Genitourinary Tumor Board conference
  • Resident/Faculty Journal Club
  • Urodynamic seminar
  • Urology Grand Rounds

Dedicated time for conferences include:

Monday morning  6:30 to 7:30 am Urology didactics, Urodynamics
Thursday morning 7 to 8 am GU Radiology conference
Thursday evening 4:30 to 6 pm GU tumor board
Friday morning  7 to 8:30 am Urology didactics, M&M, Journal Club, Surgery Grand Rounds.

Residents are expected to attend all conferences and are excluded from clinical duties during conferences. All Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center faculty members provide 2 to 4 formal lectures each year to the residents. Faculty also moderate certain conferences. Dr. Seigne moderates monthly M&M, Dr. Schroeck moderates monthly Journal Club, and Dr. Gormley moderates Urodynamic conference and quarterly Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS) conference.

A faculty member is assigned to supervise all Monday evening conferences and all other faculty are encouraged to attend. A majority of faculty attend GU radiology conference and Friday morning conferences.

The Urology didactic conference has been reorganized for the 22-23 academic year. The conference schedule mirrors the AUA core curriculum and the corresponding Campbell’s chapters for each topic are distributed with the conference schedule. Residents are expected to have read the appropriate chapters prior to the conference and presenters are encouraged to engage learners during their presentation.
