Residents are expected to attend all conferences and are excluded from clinical duties during conferences. All Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center faculty members provide 2 to 4 formal lectures each year to the residents. Faculty also moderate certain conferences. Dr. Seigne moderates monthly M&M, Dr. Schroeck moderates monthly Journal Club, and Dr. Gormley moderates Urodynamic conference and quarterly Urogynecology and Reconstructive Pelvic Surgery (URPS) conference.

A faculty member is assigned to supervise all Tuesday morning conferences and all other faculty are encouraged to attend. A majority of faculty attend GU radiology conference, GU tumor board, and Friday morning conferences.

The Tuesday AM conference schedule mirrors the AUA core curriculum and the corresponding Campbell’s chapters for each topic are distributed with the conference schedule. Residents are expected to have read the appropriate chapters prior to the conference and presenters are encouraged to engage learners during their presentation.
