Within the Emergency Medicine Residency, residents may choose a training focus that supplements the core Emergency Medicine Model Curriculum. These tracks are geared toward the resident with precise career goals or a particular interest in 1 of many facets of EM. Tracks will equip residents with the skills, experience, research, and mentorship that will prepare them either for subspecialty fellowship training after residency or general EM practice in common or austere settings. Each track incorporates 2 blocks of dedicated elective time, a scholarly project and quality improvement project within the area of emphasis as well as mentorship by subspecialty faculty. Interested residents should make their selection by March of PGY-1 year.
